Scanning Size-Advanced

When you turn into the Scanning Size combo by clicking the third button , the combo will be shown like the one in the right. First you can select a job as the currently active job the number of which will be shown in the box. In the Scan Size box, select an item from the list of A4, A5, Letter, B5 Max Area and Custom. If one of the items except Custom is chosen, the following three boxes will appear. If the corresponding information appears in gray, you cannot change the parameters in them. If Custom is selected, you can select a unit from the pop-up list of Inch, Mm and Pixel. Finally enter the desired value in the last two boxes to determine the width and height of Scan Size. The default setting is A4 for Scan Size and Inch for its unit.

Tips:

1.The range of the Scan Size depends on the Scanner , which is shown in the following table.

Scanner Width(Inch) Height(Inch)
300/600 dpi (Reflective) 8.5 11.693
300/600 dpi (Transparecy) 5 7
1200 dpi (Reflective) 8.5 14
1200 dpi (Transparecy) 8 10

2.When the selected job has been rotated, its width and height cannot be over the edge of Preview Window and cannot be enlarged any more if one or more sides of the frame have closely linked with the edge of Preview Window.
