Scanner Overview

  • Message LED Light
    •
    When you turn on the scanner, the LED indicator will blink for a few seconds and then stand green. If this does not occur, there may be an error.
  • Power Switch
    •
    You can turn the scanner on or off by the power switch.
    There are various interface ports for scanners including Parallel, SCSI and USB. The pictures below are scanners with Parrallel, SCSI and USB port respectively:

  • SCSI ID Switch (For SCSI model scanner only)

    You can select the SCSI ID with this switch.
  • SCSI Connector to Other SCSI Device (For SCSI model scanner only)
    •
    This 25-pin SCSI port is used to connect other SCSI devices with the scanner.
  • SCSI Connector to PC (For SCSI model scanner only)
    •
    This 25-pin SCSI port is used to connect to the host system (PC or Mac).
  • Spec Label
    •
    The label describes the specifications of the scanner.
  • AC Inlet
    •
    The inlet for the power cord.
